Although this is a bit old, I wanted to mention it here -My Starbucks Idea – is an online forum where Starbucks asks coffee drinkers everywhere to tell them their idea. Ideas have been varied, from product to store to community. Then users vote on the ideas they would like to see implemented. Users can also comment or add to current ideas. Additionally Starbucks has created a blog to chart the progress of all ideas, informing people when certain ones get picked up by corporate. The Top All-Time idea that has been “Launched” is to create a conversation starter at stores via wireless new media platforms, which would engage patrons in a café society similar to those in Europe.
