Prius surprises us again with this large-scale interactive component, added this week to their iPhone app. ‘Draw shapes to interact with the Prius’ allows users to draw a picture on their iPhone and then see it projected live in Times Square on a digital billboard.

On the social front, Prius has created a site called harmonytweets- which is essentially a Twitter aggregator that lets users find a topic they care about, see what others are saying about it, and then add their own voice into the mix via hashtags- #inspiration, #prius, #giving. Prius has also partnered with like-minded sites such as GOOD, Howstuffworks, fw:thinking, and Guidestar Nonprofit to offer more content and tools for the visitor. Overall, I think this is a smart direction for brands to be heading in terms of integrating social media. Instead of letting the conversation happen just on Twitter, why not carry it over to a separate location?
